Congratulations on your upcoming Boss PDX project! We are excited to be working with you on your home remodeling needs. In this post we will be outlining our recommended process for selecting your materials from some of our preferred vendors. Working with a contractor for the design aspects of your project is a smart move because you can access some of our contractor-only discounts.
THE DISCOUNTS
We work with nationally recognized vendors to get you the best pricing on the materials for your project. For all home fixtures (anything from toilets to door handles), we are a Pro with build.com. This usually saves you between 3-5% on the total cost of your purchase from them.
For paint, we are a partner with Sherwin Williams and can pass along our contractor discount on paint to you, the customer.
If you are redoing countertops in your bathroom or kitchen, we work closely we FloForm Countertops. Their beautiful showroom is worth checking out to see samples of their products in person. Again, we have access to cheaper prices than the general public and can pass along some of these savings to you.
For anything related to building materials, Parr Lumber is our trusted partner. If you need windows, doors, etc. Parr Lumber contractor prices will definitely save you money throughout the duration of your project.
Finally, ColorTile Portland has a wonderful selection of tile, carpet, and hardwood floors for your next flooring or bathroom remodel project.

THE PROCESS
Here is the design process we recommend to have a smooth and successful remodel for your home.
STEP 1: BUILD A PINTEREST BOARD.
If you’ve been thinking about a remodel for a while, chances are you have a Pinterest board already. Please be sure to share your inspiration photos with us so we can see your style and what you like.
STEP 2: VISIT PARTNER VENDOR SITES
Now it’s time to pick out what you like! The vendors above are excellent resources for finding things like flooring, tile vanities, mirrors, door handles, faucets, paint, countertops, and more. As a next step, it’s a great idea to gather some ideas from this site as well and send us your favorites. We can then create a cart for you with special discounts and help you place your order.
STEP 3: ORDER MATERIALS
Once you’ve decided on what you like, it’s time to order your materials. We help you get the discounts, but it is up to you, the homeowner, to place the order for your materials in most cases (or at least supply us with payment information)
From there, it’s our motto to keep your project on time and on budget! We will work with vendors to determine delivery timelines, installation appointments, etc.
